PGY1 Pharmacy Residency
This is a 12-month program that is designed to help a pharmacist develop into an independent clinical practitioner. There are two tracks to the residency including both ambulatory and hospital, which share the same required rotations, allows for customization through elective rotations. Current required rotations include: orientation, internal medicine 1 and 2, ambulatory care (in primary care setting), infectious disease, acute care, pharmacy administration and medication safety, research, and special population. Longitudinal rotations include advocacy (required) and a teaching certificate (optional).
