PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency
This program was established in 2007 and was most recently re-accredited by ASHP in 2020. The program provides an environment to enhance pharmacotherapy skills in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings through a health system with a clinical focus on hematological and oncological disorders. The PGY2 pharmacy residency program builds on Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) education and PGY1 pharmacy residency programs to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists in specialized areas of practice. PGY2 residencies provide residents with opportunities to function independently as practitioners by conceptualizing and integrating accumulated experiences and knowledge and incorporating both in the into the provision of patient care that improves medication therapy.
