Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown PGY1 Pharmacy Residency
Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown’s PGY1 residency program was established in 1992 and is accredited by ASHP, and therefore, the program is structured to maintain accreditation by following competency areas and educational goals and objectives. Through patient care, practice management, research and other various pharmaceutical practice training segments, the residency instills a philosophy of practice that embraces the concept that pharmacists must be responsible and accountable for optimum drug therapy outcomes. Residency Structure The residency will consist of 12 core rotations with an additional week reserved for participation in the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting.
