The Pharmacy Senior Business Analyst, will assist in the development and maintenance of a wide range of reporting and analytic tools to empower the stakeholders within the pharmacy department. This includes development of accessible, easy to understand and insightful data products that make regular reporting easy, root cause analysis rich and effective, and data outputs actionable. This will build the foundation of our predictive modeling capabilities to empower decision makers to make more informed choices. The Business Analyst will serve as a member of the pharmacy team to assist in solving operational, clinical, safety and business-related problems and help find solutions using Epic and other pharmacy systems data.??The Business Analyst would interact and work with a wide variety of pharmacy staff, Clinical Operations & Business Analytics (COBA), and other IT resources.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build, modify and maintain reports for all systems (e.g. Epic, RxScan, nCoup, MedSelect, SwissLog, eSign???).
Consult with internal stakeholders on their analytical needs. Deliver valuable insights from a broad range of healthcare data using a variety of tools and techniques (e.g. Epic reporting workbench, Clarity reporting, SQL, Excel, Tableau, R, SAS, Python etc.).
Build thoughtful data visualizations using Tableau (or other tools) to accelerate information-to-action at scale (for example, describing performance of KPI???s for leadership and helping operators on the front line take action towards. process/performance improvement); free up opportunity for root cause problem solving.
Define, develop, and maintain new and existing department KPIs.
Serve as a critical link between internal pharmacy stakeholders and COBA to ensure data is interpreted correctly by COBA and will meet the needs of the pharmacy business owners.
Curate useful and specific data to influence strategic decision-making: write queries, run reports, synthesize data, interpret and explain results of analysis.
Provide clean data sets to end users through data transformation and use-case data validation.
Build, deliver, maintain and improve analytics solutions iteratively with stakeholder feedback; manage??a backlog of technical issues that require resolution??and communicate to??internal stakeholders.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Experience translating business needs into technical requirements to build and transform data into valuable, easy to understand insights.
Proficient at writing complex SQL queries that blend together data from dozens of sources for analysis, visualization, or reporting.
Hands on experience building data visualizations (preferably in Tableau) to communicate complex ideas and enable data-driven decision making at all levels of the organization.
A combination of education and/or equivalent work experience in Revenue Cycle Operations, Healthcare Finance, Business Administration, Public Health Administration, or other related field may be substituted for requirements.
Demonstrated ability to learn technologies quickly through instruction and self-training.
Ability to function independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Superior interpersonal and communication skills and a history of effectively working and communicating with all levels of internal and external technical and non-technical staff
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor???s degree in statistics, information technology, mathematics, or related domain.
5+ years of experience in Analytics or Business Intelligence performing quantitative analysis
3 year of experience in healthcare or life sciences.
Working knowledge of Epic Willow, Data Modeling and Ambulatory preferred.
2 years of Pharmacy workflow experience preferred.
2 years of experience working with Epic clarity and reporting workbench preferred.
