Zia Pet Hospital, located in the southern part of Rio Rancho, New Mexico is looking for a Full-time veterinarian. We are a new (opened November 2018), rapidly growing, progressive small animal and exotic general practice.  We provide small animal companion medicine (with some exotics (if interested/optional). We are seeking someone that practices quality, diagnostic, evidence based medicine that is compassionate and loves working with people and strives to nurture the human-animal bond. We believe in a peaceful work environment that respects work-life balance. The ideal candidate will provide excellent medicine but also have interest in the growth and success of the practice. Our facility is modern, spacious and well-equipped – digital radiography, digital dental radiography, four exam rooms, inviting lobby, large surgery suite, two isolation rooms, in-house pharmacy, ultrasound, oxygen cage, Class IV laser and Idexx lab equipment: ProCyte DX, Catalyst One, SediVue Dx, VetLab UA, Coag DX. We are looking for a veterinarian with a positive attitude, seeks independent case management, works well with staff, provides great customer care, projects a professional image and practices high-quality medicine.
