Our residency program offers four, acute care PGY1 pharmacy residency positions, a PGY2 in Cardiology and a PGY2 in Infectious Diseases at Scripps Memorial Hospital based in La Jolla, California. It is a program designed to develop clinical skills in the acute care setting through the practice of evidence-based medicine and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Scripps Memorial Hospital, La Jolla offers a wide range of clinical, surgical and specialty services including Level I Trauma Center. The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission with certifications for Ventricular Assist Device program and is San Diego's largest heart care provider.
