As the Pharmacy Technician – Home Delivery, you will be asked to shadow to demonstrate what right looks like as a fully proficient Technician. Positively contributes to overall team motivation and drives team engagement. As permitted by state regulation, interprets providers' prescriptions and creates order, assesses, inputs and retrieves prescription, medical/lab and reimbursement information from computer system.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm CST

Primary Responsibilities:
Prescription requests
Entry, billing, and submittal of the customer's order to fulfillment for delivery assist with operations support, training, and process improvements
Contribute to updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and team content
Creation/routing of pharmacy orders through receipt
Demonstrate handling both inbound and outbound member/patient calls
Prep and scan documents, verify member/patient data submit prescription orders in computer system
May contact members/patients/providers to validate data, request payment information and establish priority of order or delivery details
Applies knowledge/skills to a range of moderately complex activities
Demonstrates great depth of knowledge/skills in own function
Acts as a technical resource to others in own function
Proactively identifies solutions to non-standard requests
Solves moderately complex problems on own
Works with team to solve complex problems
Plans, prioritizes, organizes, and completes work to meet established objectives
Provide an exceptional customer experience with every interaction
Provide a holistic approach to case management by completing the following duties for each customer assigned
Extensive work experience within own function
Work is frequently completed without established procedures
Works independently
May coordinate others activities

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (ExCPT or PTCB) or ability to obtain prior to start date
1+ years of experience working in a retail pharmacy
Reside in Illinois or Iowa
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous Health Care Experience
Call-center or telephonic work
