Nuclear Medicine Technologist
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs a wide variety of functional imaging, fusion imaging and non-imaging radionuclide studies, requiring the administration of radiopharmaceuticals and the use of specialized equipment such as integrated computer/gamma camera systems and counting instruments. The work requires a professional knowledge of the field of Nuclear Medicine technology and those aspects of chemistry, physics, mathematics, and the biomedical sciences related to Nuclear Medicine.
