As an Infusion Pharmacy Technician, you'll be responsible for packaging patient deliveries for shipments via FedEx and Courier, scheduling deliveries via Courier, stocking medications and supplies, packing and pulling meds and supplies, assisting with pump/equipment management and inventory/purchasing tasks, and maximizing productivity and efficiency. Work Schedule:11am – 7:30pm CST Monday – Friday
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform drug/supply ordering and inventory/warehouse duties, including proper storage of drugs/supplies and appropriate refrigeration of perishable product
Responsible for effective purchasing of medications, materials, and supplies
Replenish shelves with medication, supplies and refrigerated perishables
Preparation and implementation of monthly and quarterly inventory process (it will require nights and weekends)
Maintain appropriate pharmacy inventory min/max levels, forecasting and purchasing from DC
Receives shipments and verifies quantity and quality of materials
Responsible for managing drug shortages and backorders and takes appropriate action to communicate information to pharmacy leadership and staff
Performs other tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
Illinois State Pharmacy Technician license (or ability to obtain within 2 years of starting employment)
Basic level of computer proficiency and typing skills
Able to read, write, and speak English fluently
Ability to pick and pinch small tablets with fingers, seize, hold, grasp or turn objects with hands; and perceive the size, shape, temperature, or texture of objects by touching with fingertips
See objects at close vision and be able to identify and distinguish colors
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
Ability to lift and push up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for entire 8-hour shift
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to use multiple software programs to fulfill medication orders
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; This may include
using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and being able to
compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Knowledge of automated medication strip packing machines
Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board and maintain a
current certificate, preferred (but not required)
