Job Summary The Program Coordinator II will be responsible for: 1. Coordinating activities and daily operations of a program. Assisting in the development of new or revision of program goals and objectives. 2. Preparing or assisting in preparation of proposal for funding and/or funding continuation from outside sponsors. 3. Conferring with and advising staff and others to provide technical advice, problem solving assistance, answers to questions and program goals; referring to appropriate department person when unable to respond. 4. Preparing periodic reports and records on program activities, progress, status or other special reports for management or outside agencies. 5. May evaluate program effectiveness to develop improved methods. 6. May review applications or other program documents independently or in conjunction with supervisor to determine acceptance or make decisions pertaining to program. 7. May Assist in the coordination of recruitment efforts Assists with written communication and promotional literature. 8. May plan workshops, meetings or conferences; coordinates logistics, scheduling and participant communications. Interacts and maintains liaison with staff, faculty and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives. 9. May supervise staff
To qualify, you must have:
Associate's Degree, Bachelor's preferred
2 years of relevant experience
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to command respect from others
Conflict resolution skills to facilitate positive interactions with the organization
Organizational skills to effectively organize workload, manage time and resources and schedule and prioritize projects.
Independent Thinking skills to provide persistence and determination in the execution of the position requirements.
