The PGY2 Geriatric Pharmacy Residency Program at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System has been accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists since 1986. This comprehensive clinical pharmacy training program is designed to develop autonomous geriatric clinical pharmacist practitioners by conceptualizing and integrating accumulated experience and knowledge into the provision of advanced patient care.
