PGY2 Pediatric Pharmacy Resident
The Pediatric PGY2 residency at Monroe Carell Jr., Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt is designed to build upon a PGY1 foundation of clinical knowledge. Through further experiences in patient-centered care, teaching and leadership, the resident will have the opportunity to enhance their skills and confidence in pediatric pharmaceutical care. This resident can anticipate focus on sharpening their clinical skills in pediatric pharmacy practice while working towards independence, in a particular area if desired, throughout the 12-month residency. After completion, the resident will be prepared for an opportunity to work as a clinical pharmacy specialist. The goals and objectives of this program follow those established by ASHP. Required rotations include: PICU, ID, NICU, oncology, and pedia
