The residency will be structured to meet the goals and objectives of the individual resident, while meeting the ASHP requirements for a PGY2 residency in Emergency Medicine. St. Joseph’s/Candler is a 714 bed community-based regional referral health system comprised of two hospitals with an annual combined emergency department censes of over 110,000 patients. The goal of this PGY2 emergency medicine residency is to train pharmacy practitioners who will be qualified to work in a variety of emergency medicine or critical care environments. Trauma experience is provided through a rotation at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, GA. The resident will also participate in a Graduate Certificate program through The University of Georgia College of Pharmacy receiving a Graduate Certificate upon completion
