The PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency at Trinity Health Grand Rapids provides residents with a broad-based and customizable clinical training experience in infectious diseases. The required rotations, together with the large number of available elective rotations, allow the resident to acquire experience and competence in a wide range of infectious diseases pharmacotherapy areas in order to produce excellent independent clinical pharmacy practitioners. Our PGY2 pharmacy residency program will build on PGY1 training programs and outcomes to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists responsible for medication-related care of patients in the specialty area of infectious diseases.
