The innovative Pharmacy Post-Graduate Year 2 Oncology Residency program at the University of Miami Hospital and Clinics is designed to provide intensive training in the care of hematology and oncology patients. The PGY2 Oncology Residency offers the resident a 12-month learning experience that prepares them to function independently as a clinical pharmacy practitioner in oncology, to serve as a fully integrated member of a multi-disciplinary team, and to optimize medications used in the provision of cancer care. The resident will practice with established interdisciplinary teams throughout University of Miami Hospital and Clinics and the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
