The Pharmaceutics Laboratory at the Magee Women's Research Institute, University of Pittsburgh, is currently accepting applicants. Research in this laboratory lies in the design, development, and assessment of drug delivery systems for application in the areas of infectious disease and women’s health. The lab is highly translational and has developed over 50 pharmaceutical products, 12 of which were advanced through clinical testing. The laboratory seeks to transform global health through pharmaceutical innovation. To this end, the lab is also designing bio-relevant systems to predict the clinical functionality of pharmaceutical products and conduct drug transport, metabolism, and drug-drug interactions.
