The Admissions Operations Coordinator is part of the Operations and Communications team whose primary role is the Slate systems/data administration and technology oversight for the Office of Admissions which includes both undergraduate and graduate populations.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Process all application materials that are received through the USPS, email, and electronic submission utilizing the Admissions CRM Technolutions,Slate.
Exhibit a high level of customer service skills when interacting with students and/or guests in person, email, or telephone.
Support and promote the admission goals for all student populations including first year, transfer, graduate, and off-campus student enrollment. Also supports Pharmacy, as necessary.
Supports the Director with New Student Orientation programs, including training of Admissions Ambassadors and Orientation Leaders
Primarily responsible for maintaining and ordering office supplies and departmental hospitality items.
Primarily responsible for submitting facility requests and following up with the appropriate facility staff on behalf of the Office of Admissions and the Vice President for Enrollment Management.
Primarily responsible for running data integrity queries and ensuring data accuracy in Slate for prospective students in all divisions.
Assists with the training of staff, Admissions Ambassadors/tour guides, and graduate assistants in Admissions Operations work flow and data entry. Document best practices for new and existing admissions operations procedures.
Assist in database oversight and tracking and to ensure systems are functioning accurately and a high level of data integrity is maintained.
Manage the operational aspects of the non-matric and readmit application process
Communicate with appropriate departments staff to book room/event spaces on campus for various Admissions meetings, visits, and varying sized events.
Coordinate all admissions mailings and decision packets
Design/update digital admissions materials for various student and event portals and email templates
Primarily responsible for overseeing Inbox in Slate and filtering/answering emails as necessary for undergraduate, graduate, and pharmacy.
Participates in recruitment activities, including admissions presentations, fairs, high school visits, and evening and weekend recruitment events.
Responsible for entering lead inquiries from various sources and oversee/manage the "orphan" record in Slate
Assist in the Office of Admissions internal budget tracking system and the submission of expense requisition forms.
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree required. Experience in higher education preferred

Proficient computer and data management skills, familiarity with student information systems and/or Customer Relationship Management software a plus as well as Adobe and/or Canva.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate and to work comfortably with students, colleagues, and internal and external constituents, including diverse populations.
Professional, courteous demeanor and appearance and the ability to work professionally with students, faculty, staff, and administration and to professionally represent the University to the public.
Demonstrated ability to recognize and appropriately handle matters of a confidential nature.
Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to travel using a personal and/or rental car, for recruiting purposes.

Additional Information:
The anticipated salary for this position is $40,000 to $43,000. The final offer will be based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
This position has a standard office environment. Evening and weekend hours may be required on a regular basis, particularly during periods of high activity. Ability to travel and attend off-site events is required.
