The PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program at CaroMont Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is a 12-month learning experience which aims to build on Doctor of Pharmacy education and contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions. The program seeks residents who are independent, flexible, motivated, and proactive in their professional growth. The residency program strives to develop well-balanced pharmacist clinicians capable of providing evidence-based pharmacotherapy who thrive in both clinical and distributive roles and who are eligible for board certification and/or PGY2 pharmacy residency training. CRMC is a 435 bed, not-for-profit community hospital that features 24-hour clinical pharmacy services.
