This residency program provides opportunities to residents to function independently as practitioners of advanced pharmaceutical care in psychiatric pharmacy. Residents will participate as a member of the health care team, provide education to patients and other health professionals, precept both pharmacy students and residents and demonstrate leadership through contributions to expanding pharmacy services in behavioral health. The program will provide a learning environment, mentoring and evaluation conducive to prepare pharmacists to practice independently and to sit for BCPP (Board Certified Psychiatric Pharmacist) certification upon graduation.
