Kaiser Permanente Georgia PGY1 Managed Care Residency
The Kaiser Permanente Georgia (KPGA) PGY1 Managed Care Residency program follows guidelines set by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP)/Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) and provides thorough training in a variety of specialties. It is a 12-month program in the metro-Atlanta area. KPGA’s PGY1 Managed Care Pharmacy Residency program is designed to train the pharmacy resident in various aspects of managed care, as well as, ambulatory care in an integrated healthcare delivery environment. Upon completion of the residency, the resident will be prepared for positions in Ambulatory Care, Drug Utilization Management, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), Drug Information, Transitions of Care, Pharmacy Benefits, or for PGY2 training in area of choice.
