University Medical Center New Orleans pharmacy residency programs are committed to providing an educational program that meets the accreditations standards and underlying principles of ASHP.  The educational program will be adapted to the unique goals, objective, and career plans of the resident in so far as the requirements of certification and the residency will permit.  The resident should be familiar with the accreditation and other requirements that apply to residents in training.  PGY1 Program Purpose:  PGY1 pharmacy residency program builds on Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education and outcomes to contribute to the development of
