The purpose of this program is to build upon the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) education and outcomes to develop community-based pharmacist practitioners with diverse patient care, leadership, and education skills who are eligible to pursue advanced training opportunities including postgraduate year two (PGY2) residencies and professional certifications.
Flexible, comprehensive training in a variety of retail pharmacies within the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health system.
Required rotations will include Retail Pharmacy, Home Delivery and Specialty Pharmacy, Home Infusion, and Administration with additional opportunities to work with Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBM), 340B program, as well as Business and Finance.
Resident will have Medication Therapy Management (MTM) involvement with focused efforts towards improving quality metrics and star ratings.

PGY1 positions are available in acute care focus (12 residents), ambulatory care focus (4 residents), PGY1/PGY2 Health-system Pharmacy and Leadership (4 residents), PGY1/PGY2 Medication Use Safety and Policy (2 residents), PGY1&2 Pharmacy Informatics (1 resident). Additionally, three PGY1 resident positions are available at Froedtert Menomonee Falls, one of Froedtert's affiliated community hospitals.
PGY2 positions are available in a variety of specialties including ambulatory care (3 residents), critical care (2 residents), emergency medicine (2 residents), infectious diseases (1 resident), medication use safety and policy (2 residents) oncology (4 residents), and pharmacy informatics (1 resident).

Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital (FMF) is a 202-bed community hospital located in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. It was founded in 1964 by the citizens of Menomonee Falls and surrounding communities.
