Responsible for reviewing and interpreting medication orders written by physicians, compounding and providing medications, intravenous admixtures, investigational drugs and other pharmaceuticals according to the appropriate regulations. • • The Oncology Staff Pharmacist will:Provide drug information and in-services for the safe and appropriate use of medication to healthcare providers.Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the regulations governing the preparation of intravenous admixtures, chemotherapy and other sterile products.Oversee and participate in maintaining and storing adequate inventory of all medication required for the practice.Develop and update policies and protocols for medication use and handling.
