The Endocrine Ambulatory Care Clinical Pharmacist Specialist accomplishes direct patient-care responsibilities through planning, implementing, evaluating, and monitoring the medication use for patients of their clinic(s) both through prospective collaboration with other providers in care of the patient and independently under the scope of collaborative practice agreements.  While individual clinic populations will vary, focal points of clinical services and patient care include diabetes management & insulin resistance, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, and pituitary disease, among others.  The Ambulatory Care Clinical Pharmacist Specialist advocates for the advancement of clinical pharmacy practice by way of continual quality improvement projects, creation and dissemination of educatio
