Aza Health PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency
Location: Palatka, Florida
The PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency Program at Aza Health provides a comprehensive training opportunity in an outpatient setting.
This residency program serves as a valuable learning environment that will provide the residents with the opportunity to broaden their knowledge of asthma, diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, anticoagulation therapy, hepatitis C, and HIV/PrEP, in addition to other disease states that are commonly encountered in primary care.
Upon completion of the program, the resident will acquire essential knowledge and skill in the following areas:
340B Drug Pricing Programs
Medication Therapy Management (MTM)
Anticoagulation therapy management
Hepatitis C therapy management
Residents will have the opportunity to obtain a teaching certificate and precept fourth year pharmacy students. Additionally, residents are encouraged to develop and implement new pharmacy-led programs such as the anticoagulation clinic and diabetes clinic.
