Residency Program Overview: The Virginia Mason Medical Center PGY2 residency program in ambulatory care is an ASHP accredited second year residency program established in 2018. This program provides residents with robust learning opportunities in both primary care and specialty clinic settings, as well as a focus on leadership development, teaching, population health, specialty pharmacy, and project management. Residents will be trained in Virginia Mason’s management philosophy: the Virginia Mason Production System (VMPS).
