PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency
The PGY1 community-based pharmacy residency program with Memorial Hermann Pharmacy Services is a one year post graduate training program, in pre-candidate status, with experiences in specialty pharmacy, home infusion pharmacy, and hospital-based retail pharmacies. Building upon the experiences of the Doctor of Pharmacy education and outcomes, this PGY1 program will provide robust experiences with each of the pharmacies and leadership, allowing the resident to obtain competencies in addressing patient and organizational needs amidst a dynamic payment environment and complex medication distribution models.
