The PGY2 CC residency is designed to facilitate transition to an independent specialized practice managing critically ill patients. Core rotations include Medical ICU I & II, NeuroTrauma ICU I & II, Cardiovascular ICU, Emergency Department, Rural ICU/Emergency Department, Nutrition Management, and Administration. Elective rotation experiences include: Mercy Hospital ECMO/Burns, Infectious Disease, Trauma Service, Emergency Department II, Pediatrics, Nephrology Service, Endocrinology Service, Cardiology Electrophysiology, and Informatics.
