The staff ophthalmologist functions primarily in the role of independent practitioner of ophthalmology. This position has broad clinical responsibilities within the eye clinic service. There are also administrative responsibilities with this position. Additionally this position requires training of optometry students and residents. To qualify for this position, you must meet the basic requirements as well as any additional requirements (if applicable) listed in the job announcement.
