PGY-1 Community-Based Pharmacy Resident
The 12-month PGY1 Community-based Pharmacy Residency Program is a combined program offered by Florida A&M University and Community Health Northwest Florida. The main emphasis of the program is primary care in rural and urban underserved populations. The program is designed to provide the Resident with a unique experience through postgraduate education and training to build the necessary knowledge and skills to care for patients in the community setting. The Resident will learn to take responsibility for medication use outcomes through patient interviews, evaluation, assessment, and monitoring.
