The Athletic Trainer is a board-certified health care professional who provides preventative services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions to intercollegiate athletes. Must be able to work unconventional hours, including mornings, nights and weekends.
1. Assist in the daily operations of the Athletic Training Room.
2. Perform all athletic training duties, including but not limited to: assessment, prevention, care and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and illnesses.
3. Assess new injuries and determine appropriate course of action within state license scope of practice.
