The Strategic Account Executive will focus on maintaining and driving pharmacy capture rate, increasing pharmacy revenue, identifying on-site pharmacy opportunities with existing clients, and developing HIV/Hep C/PrEP programming. The Strategic Account Executive drives customer and patient adoption, retains existing customers and patients and achieves new business growth. This team is motivated by customer retention, providing business solutions, and identifying opportunities for customers to extend the penetration of Avita among our customers’ patients. The Strategic Account Executive works directly with a wide variety of customers providing care to the most vulnerable patient populations in locations throughout the country.

Ideal location for this position will be Philadelphia, PA. 

About the Role:

• Serve as the Covered Entity strategic partner responsible for maintaining existing and growing prescription capture rate, driving revenue growth, and developing HIV/Hep C/PrEP and other disease state(s), programming, and identifying expansion opportunities – including but not limited to identifying on-site pharmacy opportunities, additional services, and referrals to sales team
• Grow and expand insured 340B admin fees quarter over quarter with assigned 340B covered entities
• Manage existing partners by monitoring Covered Entity performance, providing in person support, training, and marketing initiatives with the goal of achieving partner satisfaction
• Strategize with assigned 340B Covered Entities partners to leverage and expand their 340B grants to drive additional Covered Entity net proceeds
• Lead and conduct Monthly Portfolio Reviews (MPR) with Avita senior leadership on assigned 340B Covered Entity performance
• Collaborate with the Avita cross-functional team to facilitate and/or triage any partner concerns. Cross-functional team includes executive management, sales, marketing, 340B finance and pharmacy operations
• Conduct and participate in internal cross-functional quarterly business reviews with pharmacy operations regarding Covered Entity performance
• Conduct strategic business reviews with assigned Covered Entities on a consistent basis
• Participate in local, regional, or national conferences and/or events as needed
• Lead negotiations on Pharmacy Services Agreement (PSA) renewals, 340B administrative fee negotiations, and PSA amendments
• Travel up to 70% within assigned territory

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree in healthcare and/or MBA preferred
• Experience in Sales/Account Management in B2B environment preferred
• Healthcare industry experience preferred
• Advanced knowledge of 340B Grantee types (RW, CHC, STD, FQHC-LA, DSH) and regulations specific to grant type preferredPrior pharmacy, healthcare, or health plan experience is advantageous
• Advanced skills utilizing 340B OPAIS (HRSA database) preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills via phone, video conferencing, in person, and presenting to groups
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to cultivate strategic alliances
• Possess basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
• Working knowledge of database, CRM, and electronic document tracking and storage systems
• Adhere to all company procedures, values, and policies to provide an accurate representation of the company to all potential and current customers
• Able to travel up up 70% within assigned territory
