The interpreter provides sign language interpreting services to University students, faculty, staff, and visitors in a variety of settings both on and off campus. This position requires evening and occasional weekend work. Demonstrates ability to interact positively with people from diverse communities.Responsibilities/Duties:● Provide effective interpreting services to the University community at-large in a variety of situations including but not limited to: undergraduate, graduate & professional school courses, meetings, medical, dental, mental health appointments, commencements, University tours, and professional travel, as well as preparing for these assignments to ensure effective service delivery.● Adhere to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
