The Pharmacy Revenue Cycle Analyst is an experienced professional who is detail-oriented, can design and update monitoring protocols, independently performs the full range of responsibilities within the function; possesses broad pharmacy operations knowledge; analyzes problems/issues of diverse scope and helps develop solutions.
The Pharmacy Revenue Cycle Analyst monitors all aspects of the Pharmacy Revenue Cycle, including pharmacy revenue charge capture, revenue integrity, billing and claims denials. Reviews electronic health record workqueues, revenue integrity tools and reports to identify and prevent defects in charge generation, billing units, HCPCS codes, revenue codes,CDM management, drug pricing, claims processing,claims modiers, claims denials, and reimbursement. Supports resolution of data issues and system updates to maintain a high degree of data integrity to maximize revenue capture and claim approvals. Provides ongoing and periodic diagnostic data assessments of established revenue cycle, billing and claim processing databases to identify trends and opportunties for improvement.
