Job Description The Specialty Professional Practice Consultant will be responsible for performing on-site as well as desk style pharmacy compliance audits across our Specialty Mail and Specialty Retail locations. On a quarterly and annual cadence, the Consultant will proactively assess compliance performance specific to pharmacy practice, internal policy and procedures as well as accreditation requirements. Audit results will be reviewed with the Pharmacist in Charge as well as Specialty Operations and Professional Practice leaders to align on corrective actions required to remedy the identified area(s) of opportunity. In addition, the Consultant will also support overall Specialty pharmacy controlled drug substance management, pharmacist/pharmacy license monitoring, drug recalls and annual standard operating procedures review.
Required Qualifications 1 to 3 years of prior related work experience
Proven ability to support and manage multi-faceted initiatives and use effective judgment in prioritization and time allocation
Demonstrated high level of integrity and independent judgement and initiative
Demonstrated strong and effective high quality execution to meet deliverables and tasks in appropriate timelines
Excellent presentation and communication skills/techniques
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment to solve challenging issues and identify opportunities for improvement
Demonstrates flexibility to support rapid adjustments to strategy and priorities to meet changing business requirements; conveys strong sense of urgency to drive issues to closure
Possess ability to apply new innovative approaches to initiative delivery
Good understanding of metrics, measurement of activities, productive work, rates etc. to support calculation and/or validating value/savings, building business cases and business models for value
Preferred Qualifications 3 to 5 years of prior related work experience Licensed pharmacy technician
Education Required High School Diploma or (GED) Preferred Associates Degree
