The PGY2 Residency in Critical Care at UAB Hospital is a one-year program designed to provide extensive experience in a variety of critical care units that will build upon skills developed as a clinical pharmacist during a post-graduate year 1 (PGY1) residency. Its focus is the development of the skills and confidence necessary to independently provide advanced pharmacotherapy management to patients in critical care or faculty areas, the successful completion of the program will also prepare the graduate to attain board certification in critical care pharmacy (BCCCP).
