Department Name: H5000: CHANDLER - RETAIL PHARMACY
This position will be a Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacy Partners Program which extends the care of UK Healthcare pharmacy to patients of contracted entities in need of pharmaceutical care. This role provides the technical skills needed to help support the program. General technical duties are required with an emphasis on communication and customer service as well as coordination of delivery services. Will also serve as a courier for various needs of UK Healthcare Pharmacies. Will act as a participant in quality improvement projects and will require the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment. Must be able to solicit and offer constructive feedback in a positive manner. Must be a skilled communicator, possess proficient computer skills, be detail oriented, adaptable, organized, and demonstrate high levels of accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
This position requires dependability and the ability to prioritize. The successful candidate must be reliable and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.

Kentucky Board of Pharmacy Registration PTCB Registration
Two years of previous work experience (in a related field). Prefer previous pharmacy tech experience or work/classes in medical field. Hired candidate must maintain state licensure in good standing. Must have 2 years of full-time (or pro-rated) pharmacy technician experience and must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
