Job Description Are you ready for a career with a purpose? As a Pharmacy Technician Trainee, you will be responsible for filing, locating, retrieving, and delivering medical records. In this role, you will have the opportunity to progress toward receiving your Pharmacy Technician training and license while you work. We will assist you with training and help you prepare to take the certification exam.
Receive physician order sheets and telephone orders. File information monthly for future archive storage.
Sort order queue as directed.
Organize Compliance Box and bar code manifests.
Maintain all documents associated with Pharmacy Regulatory Compliance.
Maintain recordkeeping of Compliance Authorizations by month.
Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.

The schedule for this opportunity is Monday - Friday, with rotating holidays and weekends. You must be able to work rotating shifts which includes days and evenings. All shifts are 8-hours.
You must be within a commutable distance of, and have reliable transportation to, the following work location: Omnicare of Salt Lake City, UT.
Required Qualifications - Must complete Pharmacy Technician Training and licensure within 2 years of hire date.
Preferred Qualifications - Customer Service skills - Knowledge of medical and pharmacy terminology - Intermediate typing/keyboarding skills - Ability to perform accurately and efficiently when filing information
Education High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
