University of the Sciences (USciences) is seeking a qualified candidate for a non-tenure track faculty position as Instructor in Pharmaceutics & Manager, Pharmaceutics Teaching Laboratories. This is a full-time 10-month position in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences (DPS) at the University. DPS offers undergraduate (B.S.) and graduate (M.S./Ph.D.) degrees in pharmacology/toxicology and pharmaceutics. Department faculty are also involved in teaching students in professional (pharmacy and physician’s assistant) programs. This position includes eligibility for full University benefits and is available starting August 15, 2021. The successful candidate will be eligible for a non-tenure track faculty appointment at the Instructor rank commensurate with qualifications.
The candidate should possess a B.S. or M.S. or doctoral degree in pharmacy, pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related discipline. Candidates with hands-on experience in the preparation of such dosage forms as solutions (e.g., oral, parenteral, isotonic), solids (e.g., capsules), and semi-solids (topicals, emulsions/suspensions, suppositories) will be preferred. The finalist will be required to successfully pass a background check.
