We are looking for a Data Management Stewardto work at our Corporate office in Brentwood, TN! If you possess a “whatever it takes attitude” keep reading.
It’s hard to pinpoint a “typical” day here (and who wants typical anyway?), but as the Data Management Steward will help identify data misalignments between systems and departments. The Data Management Steward will be responsible for bringing together representatives of each system and outlining a plan to address the identified issue.
What You’ll Do for Us:
Review data from various sources to identify discrepancies in data structure or values
Collaborate with other departments to facilitate a solution for discrepant data
Identify which people or groups are the appropriate data owners and work with them on resolving duplication and issues
Identify any issues and propose ways to improve systems and database designs
Support system integrations and mass data updates, as related to data alignment and consistency
Perform occasional data entry, audits, and mass updates
Identify, compare, and resolve data quality problems
Evaluate large dataset for quality and accuracy
Determine business impact level for data quality issues using:
Root cause analysis
Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of relevant work experience
2-3 years’ experience working with discrepant data sets
Experience with system integration projects preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
Effective communication skills (written and verbal) with all levels of the organization
Detail-oriented and organized with ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks/requests
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and challenging environment
SQL Query skills
Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM (preferred)
