This position supports corporate and division marketing efforts with tradeshow planning, coordination and management. The Specialist works with the Vice President of Marketing & Communications to implement the marketing strategy for FFF and its divisions including tradeshow strategy, planning and budgeting, and related projects.
Essential Functions and Duties
Manage the targeting, planning, budgeting, implementation and evaluation of all corporate and division tradeshows; approximately 45 shows annually.
Coordinate and track the development, creation, revision and discontinuation of tradeshow materials, including booths, graphics, signage and tradeshow giveaways. This requires developing and maintaining tradeshow databases and project spreadsheets for coordinating and tracking projects throughout their lifecycles; maintaining timely and effective communications with marketing team members, internal customers and consultants; and coordinating the work of individual project team members to project completion, including establishing priorities and timelines, and assuring that project goals are met.
Coordinate the production of tradeshow projects, including approval, coding and submission of marketing invoices; track and report project costs; request and approve production quotes; analyze vendor costs and recommend the most cost-effective vendors; and manage relationships with vendors.
Manage division tradeshows, including attend and function as the on-site logistics and exhibit manager for 1-2 tradeshows each year; negotiate tradeshow contracts and sponsorships; manage advance and post tradeshow mailings; coordinate tradeshow logistics with exhibit and installation vendors; and analyze tradeshow promotion and advertising opportunities and make recommendations.
Independently identify and perform related tasks as necessary.
Administrative duties include faxing, copying, shipping, general clerical tasks as necessary, and preparing and maintaining tradeshow project files.
Continuously strive to improve processes, service quality to internal and external customers.
Comply with the policies and procedures stated in the Injury and Illness Prevention Program by always working in a safe manner and immediately reporting any injury, safety hazard, or program violation.
Ensure conduct is consistent with all Compliance Program Policies and procedures when engaging in any activity on behalf of the Company. Immediately report any concerns or violations.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred. At least four semesters of successfully completed business, marketing and/or public relations college courses and at least four years of marketing and/or general project coordinator experience required.
Basic understanding of Internet technologies
Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel, intermediate PowerPoint

Vision, hearing, speech, movements requiring the use of wrists, hands and/or fingers. Must have the ability to view a computer screen for long periods and the ability to sit for extended periods. Must have the ability to work the hours and days required to complete the essential functions of the position, as scheduled. The employee occasionally lifts up to 20 lbs. and occasionally kneels and bends. Must have the ability to travel occasionally. Working conditions include normal office setting and warehouse environment.
