This position will lead effective utilization of the experiential learning management system (LMS) including software customization and user training in the Office of Experiential Education. Because the LMS coordinates evaluation and compliance processes, this position will be vital to assessment and strategic planning processes. Working to place students in settings to promote success, this position also works with non-faculty preceptors to ensure an optimal learning experience. Requiring effective use of the LMS to manage site availability, arrange student placements, communicate policies and foster compliance, complete student and preceptor evaluations, and manage data for accreditation and quality assurance processes is vital to the success of the Office of Experiential Education and this position.
Learning Management System Lead
Act as lead user, trainer and optimizer of our online LMS. Lead use of LMS including;
Collaborate with the vendor for system use and resolve software issues.
Manage and analyze data-use to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Train staff, faculty, students, and preceptors on use of the system, and troubleshoot issues.
Lead management of LMS to support accreditation self-studies and execution of the strategic initiatives.
Communicate relevant LMS updates and changes.
Experiential Course Student Scheduling Lead
Manage the use of the LMS to set student scheduling.
Manage the process of student assignment and placement for all experiential rotations including;
Instruct students on entering preferences and information relevant to scheduling.
Lead and implement the student “match” process, to develop student and site schedules.
Perform quality assurance on the scheduling process.
Manage enrollment issues as needed.
Experiential Student Evaluation/Assessment Record Management
Manage the use of the LMS in student evaluation and assessment processes.
Manage student evaluation and OEE assessment processes and related records for accreditation and compliance reporting as well as quality improvement processes including;
Ensure that student/preceptor/site evaluations are complete.
Developing and implementing processes to report data required for accreditation and compliance.
Manage data reporting and analysis for course competencies.
Create dashboards and summarize information regarding performance data.
Lead quality assurance processes to continue engaging in quality improvement.
Communicate issues and results related to record maintenance and recommend changes/improvements.
Salary range for position- $47,000- $53,000

BA/BS in relevant field plus at least 2 or more years of related professional experience; or a combination of related education and work experience to total six years.
