We are seeking a Treasury Associate to join our team in Irving, TX.
The Treasury Associate will support McKesson's Corporate Treasury department. This individual will play a critical role coordinating with both internal and external parties. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, a problem solver, and good communicator.
Partner with internal groups (such as Accounting, Accounts Payable, Legal, and Tax) to ensure adherence to company policies, continuously improve processes, and execute strategic initiatives.
Facilitate treasury management support with McKesson's US Oncology practices to provide bank account management, customer service, and general operational support.
Delivers reports from a host of different systems to support cash operations, reconciliations, and confirmations
Responsible for bank account openings/closings and system access requests.
Maintains records of account structure, signatory contacts, etc for 75+ bank accounts
Assist with cash-related inquiries, information requests, and special projects
Manage lockbox deposit process on an ad hoc basis
Cross-trains and provides backup to other team members
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience.
2+ years Finance or Treasury related experience
Experience in Treasury operations preferred
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing environments
Strong attention to detail
Proven Microsoft Excel and analytical skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Additional Knowledge and Skills
A business partner mindset and understand the internal and external issues facing the business and industry and use that understanding to forge partnerships and build relationships
A results orientation mind-set with a personal commitment and drive to set and meet or exceed the operational and financial goals for this position
Strong communication skills to interact up and across the organization
Knowledge and experience working with accounts payable and accounts receivable preferred.
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field or equivalent experience
