We are seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team. Candidates should be local to Kansas City area for occasional onsite meetings or one of the following hub offices: Scottsdale, AZ, Columbus, OH, or Alpharetta/Atlanta, GA.
The SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) works under the guidance of a Quality Lead and manager in producing quality code in an agile environment. You will be a software tester with advanced programming skills focused on improving the testability of the application through the use of automated testing tools and frameworks.
Work with your agile development team to produce quality solutions
Improve product quality by identifying, implementing and using automated testing tools and frameworks
Help triage, troubleshoot, and support applications
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
4+ years of experience with automated testing tools (Tricentis, Smartbear, Selenium)
4+ years of experience in SDET or comparable role
Demonstrated expertise in automated testing
Experience with Cloud native solutions
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git, Jenkins
Additional Knowledge and Skills
Able to think critically, logically, and independently
Ability to learn and implement new technologies and processes
Test, Behavior Driven Development (BDD) or other advanced testing techniques
Effective written and verbal communication
Experience in the Healthcare industry is a plus
Scrum, Kanban, SAFe experience is a plus
Angular experience is a plus
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
