We’re currently seeking a full time Pharmacy Manager for Pediatrics to manage the provision of specialized pharmaceutical services for Pediatric and Neonatal patients to improve drug utilization and therapeutic outcomes including, advising prescribers on issues concerning medication therapy, drug interactions, adverse drug events and medication safety issues. Primarily, you will: - actively participate in developing and performing educational in-service programs for pharmacists, technicians/interns, other healthcare providers and patients.
- precept PGY-2 Emergency Medicine and PGY-1 Pharmacy Residents & students in pediatric rotations.
- work collaboratively with the pharmacy team and other clinical departments in relevant projects and committees to ensure that the medical center offers comprehensive pediatric pharmaceutical services to all of our patients.
We require: - Graduation from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy with a BS and an advanced graduate degree (M.S, PhD, or a postgraduate Pharm.D.) or Pharm.D. With:
PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency (required) PGY-2 Pediatric Pharmacy Residency (required) - Current NYS registration as a licensed pharmacist required.
- Hospital pharmacy experience with completion of a PGY-2 Pediatric Pharmacy Residency.
