St. Louis College of Pharmacy at the University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy in St. Louis is currently seeking qualified candidates for a postdoctoral position within the Center for Clinical Pharmacology in the lab of Prof. Bahaa Elgendy. The Center is a collaborative between Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis - Department of Anesthesiology and the University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy in St. Louis. We are seeking a highly motivated synthetic organic chemists and medicinal chemists to join a comprehensive drug discovery program. Our lab is involved in highly interdisciplinary research program, which covers medicinal chemistry, structural biology, biochemical and biophysical assays, and biological studies. The successful candidate must have extensive synthetic organic chemistry experience and should be familiar with traditional and state-of-the-art tools of synthetic chemistry. Moreover, they should have great ability to think independently and work well in teams. Candidates with background in medicinal biological chemistry and drug discovery with experience in molecular modeling is highly preferred. This position is entry level, for one year only and may be renewable based on funding availability and annual performance.
