As a Pharmacy Tech III -Diabetes Care you’ll be at the heart of our pharmacy operations as you deliver first-class customer service in every interaction in our call center. You will assist Certified Diabetes Educators and Pharmacists in our LivingConnected Program.  Primary responsibilities include setting up new patients, inbound and outbound calls to cover program details and provide equipment training on diabetes devices.  On-going support to patients by telephone, order entry, order processing, and troubleshooting issues with diabetes devices. 

What you'll be doing:

• Inbound and Outbound calls to set up new patients on the program
• Provide training on diabetes equipment by telephone
• Contacts doctors’ offices to request new prescriptions
• Perform data entry processing for diabetic equipment and supplies
• Perform order processing for diabetic equipment and supplies
• Courteously assists all customers, internal and external
• Achieves stated goals and objectives as outlined by managements
• Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information
• Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department
• Follows all Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and Private Insurance regulations and requirements
• Abides by all regulations, policies, procedures and standards
• Exercises appropriate cost control measures
• Maintains positive internal and external customer service relationships
