A postdoctoral position is available in the Garrison laboratory in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. This research position will focus on the drug development of small molecules and polymeric radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic applications in cancer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in using/generating in vitro and in vivo models to examine/validate the performance of new drug entities. Experience in basic molecular biology, proteomic and organic/medicinal chemistry techniques is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will be a person desiring to be involved with multidisciplinary research and with the ability to work independently and cooperatively. Candidates must have good writing and communication skills.
