Job description: The goal of CRRR is to provide a clear and efficient path for researchers to partner with radiology when a study requires imaging. CRRR will address the radiological needs of the protocol and assign a designated radiologist to the study to deliver high quality research reads in a timely manner. CRRR will provide study PIs across the MHealth Fairview health system with recommendations for enhancements to the proposed protocol, insights on technological requirements, ensure imaging meets protocol requirements, and serve as a resource for any radiology-related decisions or questions.
Responsibilities Intake process – 30% • Collaborate with primary investigators on the design and implementation of research studies. • Attend protocol review meetings. • Once study is approved for CR3 support, work with study team to confirm protocol needed and set up protocol in software. • Connect to reading or back-up radiologist after setting up the protocol.
Active Study Duties – 50% • Act as a support for the CR3 coordinator in working with MHealth Fairview imaging centers to answer questions on special protocol needs. Educate clinical staff on study requirements, including imaging protocols required for each study. • Maintain schedule of study patients’ imaging appointments. • Pull images from PACS to software and prep for radiologist read. Push images to appropriate mechanisms for clinicians to view the results. • Mark target and non-target lesions on research exams as part of preliminary assessment with physician oversight. • Note pertinent findings from clinical read other than target/non-target lesions in notes section. • Contact radiologist performing the clinical read, if there are significant misses identified by radiologist performing the research reads. • Perform review of images and conduct preliminary measurements according to written procedures. • Compare preliminary results to determine if results fall within reporting protocols and take appropriate action to recheck abnormal, discrepant or unexpected results. Consult with Radiologist to review and approve.
Other Duties – 20% • Setup protocols associated tumor/tissue measurements on other platforms. • Stay up to date with required training related to CR3-based softwares and tumor measurement criteria. • Perform maintenance and quality control procedures on software as appropriate. Evaluate results with software vendor. • Transfer subject images to study image repositories.

All required qualifications must be documented on application materials. Required Qualifications: • BA/BS degree or a combination of related education and work experience to equal four years. • Completion of radiographic technology degree program. • Knowledge of cross sectional anatomy for both CT & MRI. • ARRT License or equivalent training and/or experience in Imaging. • Knowledgeable on federal regulations and good clinical practice. • Experience independently meeting deadlines and prioritizing assignments. • Experience with computerized data management in a professional setting. • Work experience initiating and processing multiple projects simultaneously. • Experience in a PC environment including Microsoft Office Word and Excel. • Experience using excel, and other Microsoft applications. • Motivated self-starter. • High level of organization skills. • Strong customer service skills and attitude.
Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with clinical research coordination and processes • Experience with image measurement software • Experience in clinical imaging setting • Good with technology including: REDCap, Oncore, Ethos, UMN Box and Fairview EPIC or equivalent systems
