This NIH-funded fellowship is a research-intensive, 2-year program that is part of a large, multidisciplinary effort focused on combination antimicrobial therapy to overcome development of antimicrobial resistance. The fellow will learn in vitro microbiology techniques, animal models, in-depth computational analysis, and clinical research skills. Grant and manuscript preparation skills will be developed, and the fellow will be expected to lead and develop at least one independent research project during fellowship.
